Prior to joining DACG in October 2019, Kuhu has garnered extensive knowledge and experience in Research and Report Writing in fields like Agricultural Economics, Public Finance as well as Women and Child Welfare, while working as a Research Associate for institutions like Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow; and Non-Profit Organizations like Community Empowerment Lab (CEL), funded by Bill & Melinda Gates, USA. She has worked on various projects like developing a Corporate Business Plan for Uttar Pradesh Seed Development Corporation; making suggestions to the Fifth State Finance Commission (Uttar Pradesh) to develop a Financial Allocation Policy in favour of Women and Children; Education Sector Analysis of Uttar Pradesh (in collaboration with UNICEF), to name a few. Kuhu has completed her Bachelor’s in Economics from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi and Master’s in Economics from University of Lucknow. She has also worked as an intern at the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Lucknow. Currently, she’s pursuing Ph.D. from the Department of Economics, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow. Adept in softwares like SPSS and STATA, she is UGC NTA NET (Economics) Qualified and is keenly interested in academia, research and analysis.
