Dr. Akash Asthana

Dr. Akash Asthana is Assistant Professor in Department of Statistics, University of Lucknow, Lucknow. Prior to it he worked as Assistant Professor  (Contractual basis) in Department of Statistics and Operations Research, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and Project Fellow in Department of Statistics, University of Lucknow, Lucknow. He Qualified CSIR NET Examination for Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship with specialization in Mathematical sciences in 2006. He had completed his Post graduation in 2006 and Ph. D. in 2013 from University of Lucknow, Lucknow. He had performed statistical analysis in a number of medical projects including the projects of King George Medical University, Lucknow and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities, New Delhi, India. He has been delivered a number of invited lectures in King George Medical University, Lucknow and RML Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow.

He has a number of publications in various International and National Journals. He also presented a number of papers in various conferences. His areas of expertise are Biostatistics, Classical Test theory, Item Response Theory, Multivariate data analysis, Categorical data analysis and Operations Research. He has ability to work with Statistical Software: SPSS, R-Commander and STATA.
