Anupama is a demographer and founder member of the Data Analysis Group and presently engaged as an Assistant Professor in the department of Statistics, University of Lucknow. On obtaining her Master’s Degree in STATISTICS from University of Udaipur, a famous city of lakes in INDIA, she moved to pursue her Ph.D. (Statistics) to Banaras Hindu University under the supervision of well-known Demographer Prof. K.N.S.Yadav, presently the Vice-Chancellor of A P S University, Rewa (M.P.). Anupama is supported by providing a Technical and Population modelling by the famous Demographer prof. Yadav during his tenure as Vice-Chancellor of Rani Durgawati University, Jabalpur (M.P.). Since then she shifted her paradigm of research towards Projections and Modelling of Demographical data along with study of migration and mortality rates of the South East Asian Countries switching theoretical aspects for the real data of Census.
Anupama joined the Data Analysis Core Group (DACG) in July, 2016 from the department of Statistics where she first introduced the concepts of D-Solve (DATA – Solution) for the modelling of Census and NFHS data under the guidance of Prof. Sunil K Pandey, a famous Statistician of Sampling Surveys.
She has contributed a number of research papers in various journals of International repute and also delivered many invited lectures in a number of Seminars/ Conferences and Workshops across the country relating with population study and especially in the field of demography using different statistical software like SPSS,R etc.
Her role included the important job of supporting the DACG at all the programs – she is the only person ever to be in the DACG who has performed a major role of demonstration and training to participants of each program with a very high altitude.
