Ashok Kumar Moral

Ashok is an Assistant Professor in Statistics, University of Lucknow and founder member of the Data Analysis Core Group (DACG). He was born and educated in Meerut. He did his graduation and Post-Graduation (Statistics) from the CCS University, Meerut thereafter obtained the degree of M.Phil. from the Department of Statistics, University of Delhi, the Capital of INDIA. He joined the Department of Statistics, University of Delhi as a faculty member and served there for more than three years as Assistant Professor involving teaching in various topics of Statistics especially on Design of Experiments, R, SPSS and MATLAB software. He assisted a large number of government and corporate sector Projects in Delhi, analyzing with the help of R software and finally moved to University of Lucknow for further academics.

Number of research papers and articles were published in various journals at International Map by him and moreover, he delivered a number of invited talks/ lectures especially on Design of Experiments and R & R-Commander at Allahabad, Delhi, Meerut, Lucknow and Mahendragarh Universities.

He has also been benefitted by the Workshop on “Statistical Computing” organized by Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and now become the key member of DACG for Statistical Computing as part of our venture to carry out innovative data analysis for high data content/high-throughput techniques such as R Programming for a number of real life situations in various government and corporate sectors.
